Wow!!! So much to take in. I have always laughed at his sites he sales. I see them everywhere. Nothing unique about them. I like his concept, but I think you need more meet in the sites. Who knows maybe they work. It sounded like they worked in a comment I just read, but converting the leads were the issues. Another thing I read is somebody went old school on us and are working their friends, neighbors, etc vs spending, spending, and spending. I have been telling people this for sometime now that our market in a weird way has done a 364 no not a 365, and we have gone back to being social with our neighbors, and farming has come back in. The twist to by it is not 365 is because you MUST have your twitter and facebook valid pages up, and you must work them daily. These accounts must be on all of your farming, and slowly they will trickle in. I would not get involved in your thoughts on political news- keep it friendly, funny, and informative.

I went to one of the 1/2 day seminars and then paid for myself and 2 assistants to attend his 2 day seminar in Phoenix. I even signed up for the coaching, Talking House system, and 4 months later was still getting these huge manuals and materials in the mail. They were the same materials over and over again. I mentioned this to my coach and he said it must be a mistake. Most of the time the coaching call was a followup to what have you been doing and if it didn't work then try this. Everything he said was already in the materials and required spending more and more money. The talking house system took several hour just to set up and test, you can't do it alone. The market changed and so have I, no more Craig Proctor. Try just doing followup with your existing clients, neighbors and friends, card, reminders, birthdays, "what is happening in your neighborhood" card, you will have a much better return on your time and money. Short sales have changed our world and it isn't over yet.

Gosh Len, sorry to hear that. Not sure what you can do, besides talk to your bank.

I know its very exciting when your at the seminar, lots of hype and you feel compelled to sign up. Even if you have to proceed with the purchase make the best out of it and obtain as much knowledge as possible.

Here is my most recent experience (last week) with Craig Proctor. I went to a Craig Proctor half day seminar. I signed up for his Quantum Leap Seminar and said to the seminar leader, "Do not process this because a) I wasn't certain if I could make the date (I had to sign up at the seminar to get the package price) and b) I wasn't sure if there was enough money in the account" (it was a debit card). He said no problem just call the office at the beginning of next week. I called (yesterday) on Monday (which was a holiday for them) I left a voice message and sent an email for backup to show I called to cancell before it was processed. I checked my bank account and it had not been processed.

This morning I got call from the seminar leader saying he got my message but it had already been processed and there were no refunds. I checked with my bank and C.P. had processed it about an hour before the seminar leader sent me the message. Right away this experience makes me question his integrity. Any suggestions on the actions I can take besides warning others?

All very very true. I am doing that with my site, and even though I don't get thousands of visitors per week, I do get anyplace from 10 to 30 leads a week, and so far a large enough percentage have been closing within 6 months that it is working out well.

Keep up the great real estate articles, and yes Craig Proctor is old school in my opinion.

I agree. Proctor is old school. Most agents that use his systems make a lot of money and spend even more. It's an ego marketing system!
